Site Engineers and Quantity Surveyors with good experience and knowledge for overseeing building construction work for Companys project.
Job Location: Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Goa, Mysore
QUALIFICATION : BE (Civil Engineering) / Diploma
Responsibilities and Duties
Managing parts of construction projects
Overseeing building work
Setting out sites and organising facilities
Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
Supervising contracted staff
Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
Liaising with subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials
Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to
Job Description:

Undertaking surveys setting out sites and organising facilities
Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
Supervising contracted staff ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
Providing technical advice and solving problems on site preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials
Act as the main technical adviser on a project site for team of Supervisor fitters and helpers.
Set out, level and survey the site status time to time.
Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Ensure that all materials used, and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
Oversee the selection and requisition of materials which are required.
Manage, monitor and interpret the documents provided by the backend.
Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
Communicate with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
Day-To-Day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour.
Plan the work and efficiently organise the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Oversee quality control, neatness, health and safety matters on site
Prepare reports as required.
