Solar Panels on Roof for Controlling Electricity

Solar Panels on Roof for Controlling Electricity. In our areas, most days of the year, the impact of the sun is high.

Our region has a   global system in which natural forces such as solar heat and wind influence us for several months of the year.   There are various ways in which solar energy, which is one of the natural forces,  can be used for everyday life.  The system of installing ‘solar panels’  that generate electricity through solar heat in certain areas of the roofs of houses, in general, is widely used.

Solar panels

Instead of installing  ‘solar panels’  called solar panels on the rooftop or roofing areas of the completed houses,  the solar panels will use the entire roof of the house with solar panels.  The method has been introduced and is in practice.   Since it is built in a larger area than the old system,  it makes it easier to get the electricity required by the house.

New Method

‘Building Integrated Photo Voltaires’ (P.I.P.V) thin film-like solar panels have now been introduced.   These plates are made and available as ’tiles’ or   ‘  photovoltaic sheets’  containing solar energy cells so that they can be fitted directly on the roof of the building.  Therefore, they can be fully placed on the roof and fitted.

Thermal impact

The temperature of the house decreases as solar energy is stored in the three layers set up on those plates.  In its third layer, there is a unique ‘vinyl coating’  that prevents thermal attraction.  So that the heat does not enter the house through electric roofs.  This prevents summer heat from entering the houses.  Therefore, it can be said that electric roofs also help in causing moderate coolness inside the houses.

 Cost less

It is estimated that setting up these solar panels will be less expensive than the old system.  Moreover,  experts say that these will work efficiently even if there is less sunlight.  That is,  it is also capable of absorbing sunlight of different wavelengths and converting it into electricity.

Priority

Central   Financial    Services under the Union Finance Ministry to encourage all banks to install a rooftop solar power generation system among those availing home loans and home improvement loans.  The department has been instructed.   The RBI has asked all the listed banks to provide loans in the priority category to those installing solar power generation systems or renewable power generation systems with electricity grid connectivity in households.  The bank has also insisted.

Subsidy

Solar power generation boards are fit for use for an average of  25 years.    It is estimated that solar panel generates 90 per cent of the electricity for the first 10 years and  80 per cent for the 25 years.     It is to be noted that a 30 per cent subsidy from the Central government and 20 per cent from the Government of Tamil Nadu is available. Also,  there is a 5-year warranty for solar panels.
