Responsibilities for a Highway Engineer :
-Designing and planning highway and road projects
-Ensuring that projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations
-Conducting studies and analyses of traffic patterns and road usage
-Developing cost estimates and project budgets
-Managing and supervising the construction and maintenance of highways and roads
-Coordinating with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals
-Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
-Providing technical support and expertise to other departments and agencies
-Conducting safety evaluations and making recommendations for improvements
-Staying current with new technologies and advancements in the field.

Responsibilities of a Surveyor :
-Conducting field surveys to gather data and measurements of land, bodies of water, and other natural features
-Using advanced technology such as GPS and 3D laser scanning equipment to gather data
-Analyzing data and creating maps, plans, and drawings that accurately represent the surveyed area
-Working with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure that plans are accurate and meet all necessary regulations and standards
-Marking and staking property lines and boundaries
-Providing support and advice to clients, such as property owners and developers, regarding land use and zoning issues
-Verifying and maintaining existing survey records and maps
-Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and laws related to surveying
-Providing expert testimony and evidence in court cases related to property disputes.

Qualification: BE/B. Tech/Diploma

Min. Experience: 5 -10 years
