The worksheet is based on the bridge shoulder break methodology. This methodology was established for use early in a project when bridge particulars, such as abutment heights and locations, are not known. The costs and the factors used in the worksheet were established based on review of current bridge contract bidding practices.<\/p>\n<p>Steel and concrete are the most popular choices for modern bridge construction. Other materials include wood, iron (a different type of steel), plastic and stone. Before the availability of steel and concrete, most bridges were made of wood, rope and\/or stone.The bridge is supported by the natural teeth or implants on either side. It is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on each part of the gap.
