{"id":2839,"date":"2018-07-10T19:28:05","date_gmt":"2018-07-10T13:58:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.onlinecivilforum.com\/site\/?p=2839"},"modified":"2022-12-13T11:33:02","modified_gmt":"2022-12-13T06:03:02","slug":"job-for-site-engineers-and-quantity-surveyors-in-nccl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onlinecivilforum.com\/site\/job-for-site-engineers-and-quantity-surveyors-in-nccl\/","title":{"rendered":"Job for Site Engineers and Quantity Surveyors in NCCL"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Job for Site Engineers and Quantity Surveyors in NCCL<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Site Engineers and Quantity Surveyors with good experience and knowledge for overseeing building construction work for Companys project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Goa, Mysore<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION :<\/strong> BE (Civil Engineering) \/ Diploma<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Responsibilities and Duties<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Managing parts of construction projects<\/p>\n<p>Overseeing building work<\/p>\n<p>Setting out sites and organising facilities<\/p>\n<p>Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly<\/p>\n<p>Supervising contracted staff<\/p>\n<p>Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales<\/p>\n<p>Liaising with subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager<\/p>\n<p>Providing technical advice and solving problems on site<\/p>\n<p>Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork<\/p>\n<p>Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials<\/p>\n<p>Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Managing parts of construction projects overseeing building work<\/p>\n<p>Undertaking surveys setting out sites and organising facilities<\/p>\n<p>Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly<\/p>\n<p>Supervising contracted staff ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales<\/p>\n<p>Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager<\/p>\n<p>Providing technical advice and solving problems on site preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork<\/p>\n<p>Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials<\/p>\n<p>Act as the main technical adviser on a project site for team of Supervisor fitters and helpers.<\/p>\n<p>Set out, level and survey the site status time to time.<\/p>\n<p>Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure that all materials used, and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.<\/p>\n<p>Oversee the selection and requisition of materials which are required.<\/p>\n<p>Manage, monitor and interpret the documents provided by the backend.<\/p>\n<p>Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.<\/p>\n<p>Communicate with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.<\/p>\n<p>Day-To-Day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour.<\/p>\n<p>Plan the work and efficiently organise the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>Oversee quality control, neatness, health and safety matters on site<\/p>\n<p>Prepare reports as required.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Current Openings<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>General Managers &#8211; Projects &#8211; Mumbai, Bangalore<\/li>\n<li>Dy.
