\u2022 They are used for large structures, and in situations where the soil under is not suitable to prevent excessive settlement.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 Piles are required for setting out of towers for high power transmission lines and in some cases are also used for supporting the multistory buildings.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Sub-soil water table is so high that it can easily affect the other foundations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
